The Ruhr Piano Festival is committed to personal data privacy. Your personal data is therefore only used to the purpose for which it was provided to us. Every time you access a webpage on www.klavierfestival.de, data for purely statistical purposes is gathered (time of access, browser type used, type of operating system). This information is kept anonymous, making it impossible for it to be associated with any individual user. In those cases where Klavier-Festival Ruhr webpages provide fields for the user to enter personal or commercial data (such as name, address, telephone number, etc.), it remains clear at all times that the user is providing them voluntarily.

Newsletter subscription 

When you subscribe to the Ruhr Piano Festival electronic newsletter, the Klavier-Festival Ruhr stores, classifies and uses the e-mail address you have provided in order to keep you informed as you have requested. As a subscriber, you are sent newsletter content only to the e-mail address you have provided. You can cancel your subscription at any time by simply writing to Stiftung Klavier-Festival Ruhr, Brunnenstrasse 8, D-45128 Essen or by sending an e-mail to info(at)klavierfestival.de.

A privacy statement concerning the Facebook “Like” button

The Ruhr Piano Festival website uses social plugins (herein termed as “plugins”), particularly in relation with the Facebook social network, URL www.facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (herein called “Facebook”). Facebook plugins can be recognized as a white “f” on a blue square, or as a “raised thumb” square, or as a light blue square containing the words “Gefällt mir” or “Like”.

Our website contains a Facebook plugin. I. Daten bei Registrierung und Bestellabwicklung
Die Registrierung und damit die Eingabe weiterer Daten in unserem Onlineshop erfolgt auf freiwilliger Basis. Ohne eine Registrierung können wir jedoch leider keine Bestellungen entgegen nehmen oder abwickeln.
1. Erhebung und Speicherung personenbezogener Daten
Bei der Registrierung werden all jene Daten abgefragt, die wir zur Ausführung und Abwicklung von Bestellungen benötigen. Diese sind insbesondere: Vorname, Name, Adresse, Land sowie die E-Mail-Adresse.
Wir speichern Ihre Daten bis zur vollständigen Erfüllung unseres Kaufvertrags, also bis zum Versand Ihrer bestellten Ware. Für andere Zwecke als für diese Bestellung verwenden wir Ihre Daten nicht. Wenn der Bestellvorgang abgeschlossen ist, werden wir Ihre Daten wieder löschen.
2. Nutzung und Weitergabe personenbezogener Daten
Die von Ihnen zur Verfügung gestellten personenbezogenen Daten verwenden wir zur Beantwortung Ihrer Anfragen, zur Abwicklung Ihrer Bestellung sowie zum Zweck der technischen Administration der Webseiten. Eine Weitergabe Ihrer Daten an Dritte erfolgt nur, wenn die Weitergabe aufgrund der Vertragsabwicklung oder zur Abrechnung bzw. zum Einzug des Entgelts erforderlich ist oder Sie ausdrücklich in die entsprechende Weitergabe eingewilligt haben. Jedenfalls erhalten die Dritten nur diejenigen Informationen, die notwendig sind, um ihre jeweiligen Aufgaben zu erfüllen.
Eine weitergehende Nutzung der Daten durch uns erfolgt nicht. Insbesondere werden die Daten darüber hinausgehend nicht an Dritte weitergeben oder Dritten zur Einsicht zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir weisen darauf hin, dass die datenschutzrechtlichen Aufsichtsbehörden zur Einsichtnahme in die personenbezogenen Daten befugt sein können. Zudem können wir gesetzlich verpflichtet sein, den Behörden über die gespeicherten Daten Auskunft zu erteilen.
