Fabian Müller

Appassionata

Arcadi Volodos auf dem Klavierfestival Ruhr 2020

Franz Schubert Three Piano Pieces D 946
Wolfgang Rihm Piano Piece No. 5 “Tombeau”
Ludwig van Beethoven Sonata No. 23 in F minor op. 57 “Appassionata”

In 2017, a young pianist caused a sensation at the renowned International ARD Competition in Munich, gleaning five prizes including the Audience Prize. The music scene has kept an eye ever since then upon the career of Fabian Müller, who, nevertheless, was not an unknown for concertgoers attending the Ruhr Piano Festival. As a master pupil of Pierre-Laurent Aimard he had already performed his début here in 2011 and returned often to the Festival, particularly thanks to his commitment within the framework of our Education Project presentations. Born in Bonn, Fabian Müller now performs a solo recital which naturally includes Beethoven.
