Pianist and stand-up comedian Christoph Reuter first became well-known as the musical sidekick of the popular talk show host Dr. Eckart von Hirschhausen, but in the meantime he has made himself a brilliant name with his solo programmes. Music, of course, always plays the main role! “Everyone is musical (except for some)” is an enthusiastic, mesmerizing journey through 500 years of music history in one evening. Reuter makes dazzling leaps from jazz to pop and Classical music, then back again; in so doing, he still finds time to answer essential questions such as: “What is music capable of, more than any drug? Can you set someone’s heartbeat to music? Where do earworms go when they’re not in our ears?” Reuter’s show is a musical and theatrical treat!
